VRU Demonstration School #5 summary and suggestion

SUMMARY 

1. Purposes of Practicum
    Main purpose of this program is for improving my teaching skill and communication skill. it was challenging for me to teach student in other country that has different mother language. This program not only help me to improve my skill in teaching, but also help me to learn how to survive in other country and life far away  from family.

3. Outcomes of Practicum
     I really thanks to this program, because i can improve my teaching skill and learn more how to organize students in class. One thing that i realize in joining this program is: English is not enough to travel the world, we have to learn general mother language, in order to make us adapt easily as foreigner. 
    Teaching is not only about explain the lesson, but also about how to make students understand the lesson without missed conception in easy way. In this practicum, i also realize that students does not need teacher explain too much about the lesson, they need practice and discuss  by themselves to make them understand well. 

 4. The Challenges of Practicum 
     The big challenges in this practicum for me is only two: Finding halal food and understanding Thai Language.

 5. Overall Impression
     I feel really blessed to join this program. I learn many things from this program. not only learn about education but also others, like: culture, language, and  behavior. people in Thailand is so kind and friendly. they tried to make us comfort to stay in Thailand.

SUGGESTION
     The program is not only for practicing in teaching, but also give the addition program for exchange culture. example like give course to learn mother language in practicum country two or three  times a week. so, participants can survive more easily as foreigner in the practicum country.

 VRU DEMONSTRATION SCHOOL PROFILE Valaya Alongkorn Rajabahat  University under the Royal Patronage Demonstration school is a demonstration school in Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under the Royal Patronage, Pathum Thani. The school has a Primary School and a secondary school. This university was made by Princess Valaya Alongkorn in order to make better of female’s education in Thailand. The university actually was in Bangkok then move to Pathum Thani since the university wants to open new faculties. This university has a demonstration school, which are VRU Demonstration School (Satit VRU) CLASSS: 1. Primary School grade 1-6 2. Secondary School Secondary School is devided into 2: 1. VRU Demonstration School #3 Pedagogical Content

A. Methode of Learning 1. Motivation : giving general example and connect to the real life 2. Discussion : increasing interaction between "Student and Teacher" and "Student and Student" to make student more active 3. Generalization : explaining the materials and theories of lesson 4. Application : Implementing theory of lesson in real life 5. Evaluation : giving some problems to know how students understand the lesson B. Sources of Learning       I used power point for explaining the lesson to students. i need to show students more pictures and videos to make them understand about the lesson, because they are not really good in English. i used teacher hand book and information from internet to teach. i also prepare worksheet to asses students understanding.
